| "CONVERSATIONS IN THE WOODS" is a playful expression of joy, aliveness and relationship. This installation piece is one of a series that incorporate elements of its setting into the work. The trees and the space of the woods become part of the characters; the branches become the hair and the mind; the birds and the animals playing in the branches are among the events of the mind. While the conversation is without words, there is a dialog across the path and space which engages one tree-person with another and with all of life around it. The piece can be considered to symbolize our interconnectedness with all of nature and the universe. |
